This red jasper necklace is a stunning piece that you will love to wear! This jewelry piece is made with rosetta lace agate gemstone cubes. They almost look surreal with their swirls of earthy, reddish colors. And then when you complement the agate with red flake jasper and sterling silver, the beauties really stand out, reminding me of the timelessness of red rock canyons in the Desert Southwest. An artisan designed necklace for the woman who adores one of a kind jewelry, the TIME STANDS STILL necklace was carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.

Catherine Waterhouse – Owner/Designer
Experiencing a life long love affair with Nature (am a self-professed “nature geek”), I am able to satisfy a strong desire to create by designing one-of-a-kind jewelry mainly using semi-precious stones and sterling or fine silver. But polymer clay, Czech glass, Swarovski crystals, copper and lampwork beads also play a huge part in the design process. My Muse is Nature, and to be inspired, I just have to look out over the amazing desert landscape where my husband, my Shadow Dog, Seamus, and I are privileged to live. My work has been sold through galleries in Virginia, Texas and South Carolina, through art shows, home shows, Facebook, Pinterest, Wanelo, Flickr and ArtFire . . . and now Indiemade. I LOVE my “job!”
I am an ardent supporter of adopting dogs from shelters. To help the many sweeties waiting for their forever homes, I have started a line of “dog rescue” jewelry. For each piece sold, 1/2 of the purchase price is donated to the local Humane Society. I am thrilled and humbled that the earrings are brisk sellers both on line and at the arts festivals I attend.
