Denim Blues Wrist Cuff

1 in stock

Casual Denim Blues Wrist Cuff is a fun piece to wear! Protective handmade Casual Stretch-y Ribbed Cotton Yarn Cuff That Hugs The Wrist – By RSS Designs In Fiber.  It Hugs Your Wrist Softly and is Protective when working on a computer.  Made with 100% Eco-Friendly Cotton Yarn in Ribbed Stitches – it will Stretch over your Hand onto your Wrist.

4 Inches Long with an Inside Circumference of 6.5 Inches at the Wrist. Color Shaded Denim Blues goes with everything!!

I created one of these for myself to comfortably cushion my wrist during those hours on a laptop and using a mouse — I made it so that it Stretches and with the Crocheted Post Stitch Ribs, cushions that sensitive area just under the Wrist!

Casual Denim Blues Wrist Cuff

2 styels of Crochet Rib stitches used:

  1. Post Stitch Rib  –
    1. is thick and on both sides of the material and is used for the 2 3/4 Inch Section of the Wrist Cuff that will cover your wrist – and maybe a little bit of your arm. Post Stitch Rib is very thick – I did it with alternating Front and Back Post Stitches. See all the Photos – the 4th Photo is a Closeup of the Post Stitch Rib section.
  2. Back Loop Single Crochet Rib is very stretchy – and is like at the bottom of a Sweater – but I made a 1 Inch Section of this at the top of the Wrist Cuff that is larger around: 8 Inch Inside Circumference so that it will sit comfortably at the bottom of the Hand.

This Wrist Cuff Stretches Enough that you can pull it over the Wider part of the Hand – and then it goes back to its original shape and sort of hugs the Wrist.

Made in a Soft Cotton Yarn – “Peaches & Creme” – that is Eco-Friendly Non-Toxic – but is not too soft, so it stays thick and cushioning – and being Crocheted Cotton is Cool and Breathable, too!

Basic, Casual, Comfortable, Decorative – if you like Cotton Denim Blues –  this Casual Denim Blues Wrist Cuff is right for You!

Recommended to wash as a Cotton Knit would be – Cool Water, Mild Detergent, Low Heat Drying.

Ruth Sandra Sperling – Owner/Designer

Hi! I’m Ruth Sandra Sperling – the “RSS” in RSS Designs In Fiber, an Independent who Crochets, Knits and Sews and sells some of the Finished Products – some of which you will see here in my Etsy Shop!

How did it start? Actually, I had been Crocheting since my Teens – drawing and doing other Arts and Crafts since I was a Toddler. In 2001 I had started spending a bunch of time Crocheting all kinds of things: an Afghan, a Sweater – and kept doing more in 2002: a Mat, a Bag, a Lap Blanket, a Stuffed Egg, a Stuffed Pillow, Hats and Scarves, a Stuffed Giraffe, a children’s outfit – some of patterns I had and some I made up on my own!

A Passion for Fiber Arts

Then, for the Winter Holidays of 2002, I participated in a local Holiday Boutique – and had some Hats and Scarves on consignment in a local store. I found out that some people like buying things I made. Then I was asked if I would crochet some Thread Crochet Doilies to sell locally – and some of them sold and some people wanted Custom-made Thread Crochet items — and my little Handmade Craft Business started – and has been going ever since!

I NOW make a variety of things!! In Thread Crochet, I make all kinds of things from small Trinkets (Coasters and other Decorations) to average-sized Doilies to large Centerpieces and Table Runners – even a Tablecloth – mostly Decor, but also some Personal Accessories or Things To Wear. In Yarn, I both Crochet and Knit: Decor, Personal Accessories, Hats and Scarves, Bags (including Laptop Sleeves).
